Gaming accessories report
With the development of the gaming industry and the increasing penetration of the sphere of digital entertainment into the lives of more and more people, for many manufacturing companies such a category of products as gaming accessories is also becoming important priority.
As new brands appear all the time along with already recognizable brands in digital entertaiment idustry, thereby increasing competition and forcing brands to increase the level of presence of their products.
We asked our ‘Eyes’ to visit and collect insights in more than 50 consumer electronic stores across the UK, performing audits in the categories of headsets, keyboards and mice by checking product presence and checking the execution of POSM materials.
Some highlights of the report:
• LOGITECH is the best performing brand across all 3 categories analysed (headsets, keyboards and mice).
• ASUS was the brand that struggled the most, in terms of in-store presence across all 3 categories
• ROCCAT and MICROSOFT had both a low level of in-store presence within the Keyboard category.
• Many Brands were suffering from no tags or incorrectly labelled tags in-store.
